ADR ODR International appoints Pavani Sibal as the Head of AOI India, marking a pivotal milestone in ADR ODR International’s expansion in India.

Sibal is a dual-qualified lawyer (England & Wales and India) with over two decades of international experience as General Counsel and senior in-house counsel across infrastructure, energy, renewables, environment, and education sectors.

She began her career with GE Infrastructure – Water & Process Technologies and went on to lead legal functions for major multinational ventures, advising on cross-border transactions and governance across the US, UK, Europe, India, and Asia-Pacific.

A Fletcher School graduate in International Relations, Sibal has represented global issues of conflict resolution, law, and diplomacy at the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, and the World Bank. In 2025, she qualified as a Digital Dispute Resolution Specialist (DDRS) with ADR ODR International and currently serves on the executive boards of Presolv360, India’s largest online dispute resolution platform, and Goddess Gaia Ventures.

Commenting on the appointment, Rahim Shamji, CEO and Founder of ADR ODR International, said,

“I am delighted that Pavani has agreed to head AOI India – this appointment marks a pivotal moment in the growth and development of AOI India. Pavani brings to the role an extremely high degree of professionalism, diligence, and thoughtfulness. Her unique ability to bridge the legal world and the human-centric dispute resolution world is an asset like no other. Under her leadership, ADR ODR International will contribute to the development of ADR and ODR in India and globally, bringing huge opportunities and success to India’s dispute resolution community.”

Speaking on her new role, Sibal shared,

“I am thrilled to announce my appointment as the Head of ADRODR in India, a role that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the global vision of dispute resolution. In a world increasingly defined by conflict and complexity, it’s more important than ever to ensure that the voice of humanity is not diminished to mere legal arguments or courtroom battles. Instead, the focus should be on fostering meaningful negotiations and mediation, tools that are essential for conflict resolution and long-term peacebuilding.

As global specialists in both Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Digital Dispute Resolution Specialist (DDRS), we share a common understanding that peace does not stem solely from judicial rulings, but from dialogue and mutual understanding. I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to strengthen the ADR community worldwide, with a specific focus on advancing these principles in the Indian context. The journey ahead is both exciting and critical as we seek to shape a more harmonious, cooperative world.”
