Phoenix Legal promotes Simant Satapathy and Meera Murali to Associate Partner

Phoenix Legal has announced the elevation of Simant Satapathy and Meera Murali to the position of Associate Partner.

A 2018 graduate of Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Satapathy has been with Phoenix Legal for over past two years.

Satapathy's areas of practice include banking and finance, debt capital markets and structured finance. He has advised a diverse clientele of Indian and foreign banks, financial institutions, investors, and companies. He has worked on a wide range of financing matters including cross border financing, commercial real estate financing, structured finance, securitisation, overseas direct investment facilities, project finance and acquisition financing.

A 2015 graduate of Amity Law School, Delhi, Murali has been with Phoenix Legal for the past two years.

Murali advises and represents a diverse range of domestic and international clients on insolvency and restructuring matters, including leading financial institutions, companies/ conglomerates, committees of creditors, resolution professionals, liquidators, bidders, resolution applicants, among others. Her practice spans both strategic advisory and complex dispute resolution related to all aspects of corporate insolvency resolution and liquidation processes.
