AZB & Partners' Mumbai Banking & Finance Partner Piyush Mishra has left the firm to rejoin L&L Partners in Mumbai..Mishra will be leading L&L's insolvency, restructuring and finance practice in Mumbai and Bangalore.Commenting on Mishra's rejoining, L&L Founder and Managing Partner Rajiv Luthra said,"With all the right spark plugs cleaned, the firm is moving ahead. Piyush is one such spark, who I am looking forward to working with again…we are all extremely excited, as much newness is unfolding.".Confirming his exit from AZB, Zia Mody said,"We wish him all the very best.".Mishra started his career at the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas after graduating from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore in 2002.He worked at Amarchand Mangaldas till 2004, after which he joined Luthra. In 2007, he moved to Allen & Overy in London, where he worked for two years before moving back to India to rejoin Luthra. He was made a Partner at the firm in 2010..In 2015, he left Luthra to join Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and later moved to AZB & Partners in 2018..L&L Partners recently announced the expansion of the physical space of its Mumbai office. The firm will now occupy the entire 20th floor of the Indiabulls building in Lower Parel..The firm recently welcomed Abhishek Mathur back into its fold.In May this year, Dua Associates Partner Kunal Mehra joined the firm as a Partner in Delhi.
