Rachana Yadav joins Whirlpool India as Director Legal

Rachana Yadav has joined Whirlpool India as Director, Legal & Compliance.

Yadav is a 2014 alumna of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. She earned her LLM in Business Laws from National Law School of India University

With 12 years of expertise, she specializes in contract drafting and negotiation, brand extensions, labeling, risk assessment, due diligence, and compliance with regulatory and advertising laws. Her knowledge extends to self-regulatory bodies such as ASCI, the Consumer Protection Act, Cable Television Network Rules, dispute resolution, and litigation. She actively practices before the Supreme Court, various High Courts of India, ITAT, CESTAT, NCLT, TDSAT, and numerous other courts and tribunals throughout India.

Prior to joining Whirlpool India, Yadav served
as a legal counsel for Beam Suntory. She has previously worked at law firms such as AZB & Partners and PDS Legal.
