Ranjana Adhikari will be joining IndusLaw as a Partner in the firm's Media, Entertainment & Gaming practice at their Mumbai Office.

Before joining IndusLaw, Ranjana co-headed the Media & Entertainment and Gaming Practice Groups at Nishith Desai Associates (NDA), Mumbai.

She advises clients on Media & Entertainment (including gaming) and IP, technology and ICL matters. Apart from transactional work, she is also integrally involved in domestic pre-litigation strategies, litigations and international commercial arbitration matters (like before LCIA) in a range of sectors and industries including M&E.

Commenting on Adhikari's joining, the firm's Founding Partner Suneeth Katarki, said:

“We are happy to have Ranjana onboard. With her joining, we now we have a Mumbai Media &Entertainment practice capability. Her extensive experience in this sector will be a natural fit to our existing TMT practice and will definitely help us grow our client service capabilities nationally.”

Adhikari also expressed her views on this new endeavor and added:

“I have had a long fruitful innings at NDA. What attracted me to Indus was the clear vision of the Firm and its culture of promoting and investing in young partners. I have been impressed with the stellar reputation the TMT practice has built and their roster of clients. I am happy to be part of this exciting journey.“

The firm now has 52 partners and over 220 lawyers across its 4 offices in Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
