Rial Verma has joined Axonwise Private Limited, dba Sarvam AI, as General Counsel.

Verma is a 2017 graduate of ILS Law College, Pune.

With close to a decade of experience, Verma started her career with law firms, having worked with Wadhwa Law Offices and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, before switching to in-house roles.

As an in-house counsel, she handles Legal & Compliance functions and specialises in Corporate, Tech & Intellectual Property laws.

Prior to joining Sarvam AI, Verma served as the Head of Legal at Whatfix.

Recently, Sarvam AI raised $300 million from a Series B fundraise led by HCL Technologies and Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors.
