Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, New Delhi, Senior Partner Binsy Susan has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre (NPAC).

Binsy has over two decades of experience in handling complex and high-stakes domestic and international commercial arbitrations in jurisdictions such as the US, the UK, Singapore, Brazil and India.

Binsy has represented clients across critical sectors such as construction, oil and gas, information technology, media and entertainment, aviation and telecom in ad-hoc arbitrations as well as arbitrations before ICC, SIAC, LCIA, AAA and CAM-CCBC.

Binsy also has a strong commercial litigation practice before various High Courts and the Supreme Court of India.

Earlier this year, Binsy was appointed as a member of the American Arbitration Association – International Centre for Dispute Resolution (AAA-ICDR) India Committee.

She also frequently writes on issues relating to arbitration and contract law, including publications in Global Arbitration Review (GAR) and Lexology.

She also regularly speaks at international panels and seminars, including the London International Dispute week and the Singapore Convention Week.
