

HSA Advocates has merged the practice of Shashank Singh Associates into its partnership, effective July 1, bringing in a direct tax, white-collar crime and general corporate team led by Shashank Singh, along with former senior IRS officer S.K. Singh as Special Advisor.
Shashank SIngh, who founded Shashank SIngh & Associates, has over 16 years of professional experience and is recognised by clients and peers alike for his impeccable professionalism, quality of work and depth of experience in his areas of practice.
Singh has also been actively involved in advising on tax structuring for domestic and cross-border transactions, infrastructure project financing, and general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and FEMA.
S.K. Singh joins as Special Advisor after a 36-year career in the Indian Revenue Service, retiring as Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (International Taxation), Delhi. Singh brings extensive experience in direct taxation, international taxation, transfer pricing, and financial crimes matters, spanning both advisory and litigation.
The team also includes Principal Associates Arjun Minocha and Sourav Vig.
Minocha has 13 years of experience in civil, commercial and criminal litigation, with particular expertise in white-collar crime matters under the PMLA, direct tax litigation, banking and insolvency disputes.
Vig has over 10 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, including corporate structuring, contract drafting, negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory and taxation advisory.
