Shivam Pandey and AOR Priyanshu Upadhyay launch AjaiAnand Law Offices

Arbitration and disputes lawyer Shivam Pandey has joined hands with Priyanshu Upadhyay, an Advocate-on-Record (AOR) before the Supreme Court of India, to launch AjaiAnand Law Offices: a specialized cross-border disputes and arbitration practice. 

AjaiAnand Law Offices positions itself as a specialized boutique practice with deep capabilities in:

• Cross-border and international arbitration

• Investor-state disputes

• International commercial litigation and enforcement

• Appellate advocacy before the Supreme Court and High Courts

• Domestic arbitration and alternative dispute resolution

• Insolvency and bankruptcy matters with international dimensions

The Founding Partners, who are college friends from School of Law, Christ University Bengaluru, possess complementary expertise in cross-border arbitration, international dispute resolution, and litigation practice.

Pandey is a disputes lawyer specialising in cross-border and international arbitration, including investor-state disputes, multi-jurisdictional commercial arbitrations, and complex international enforcement matters. He joined P&A Law Offices as an intern and for almost a decade rose up to the rank of Principal Associate.

Upadhyay is an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India with approximately a decade of specialised practice before India's apex court and multiple High Courts, including the Delhi and Calcutta High Courts. Having maintained an independent practice throughout his career, Upadhyay has built a reputation for meticulous case management, for Criminal Defence, Administrative Law, Family & Estate Law and litigations from customs proceedings.

Together, the Partners have built a practice spanning the Supreme Court of India, multiple High Courts, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), and various District Courts.

Speaking about the launch, Pandey said,
