Sumit Sinha has joined Phoenix Legal as a Partner at the firm's New Delhi office. He will be part of the firm’s General Corporate, M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital practice..Sinha is a 2006 graduate of the Symbiosis Law College, Pune..Sinha has nearly 17 years of experience. His areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, corporate restructuring and reorganizations, corporate investigations, white-collar crimes and general corporate and commercial transactions. He has been advising domestic and international clients, private equity funds, hedge funds, banks & financial institutions and business houses across a range of sectors. He has significant transactional experience and had been actively involved in some large M&A and private equity deals in the country.
