Sumit Thakur joins Hindustan Zinc as General Counsel

Sumit Thakur has joined Hindustan Zinc Limited as a General Counsel.

Thakur is a 2005 graduate of Campus Law Centre, Law Faculty, Delhi University. He earned his LLM in 2011 from the Kurukshetra University.

Thakur is a veteran in-house counsel, having 19 years of extensive experience in handling entire legal & compliance activities including litigation, arbitration, contracts drafting and vetting, property, business advisory, corporate restructuring and registration & enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights of large listed organizations.

Prior to joining Hindustan Zinc, he was the Vice President & Head Legal at Allcargo Logistics for over a year.
