Suvaaankoor Das has joined Lex Consult as a Partner in Litigation, Arbitration & Dispute Resolution Practice.

Das is a 2014 graduate of KIIT School Of Law.

With over a decade of experience across civil and commercial litigation, domestic arbitration, constitutional law, and insolvency proceedings, Das has appeared before the Supreme Court of India, several High Courts, the NCLT/NCLAT, and various civil and consumer courts across the country. He has acted for a wide spectrum of clients, including state-owned enterprises, multinational IT companies, manufacturers of engineering and construction equipment, sports federations, banks, financial institutions, developers, hospitals, and entertainment companies.

Prior to joining Lex Consult, Das was operating as an independent lawyer. In the past, he has worked with JSA, Krishnamurthy & Co and Tatva Legal.

Commenting on Das's appointment, the firm’s Equity Partners - Naresh Pareek, Majid Siddiqi and Nidhi Khadria said,

“At Lex Consult, we have always believed in building a place where good professionals can come together, work with freedom and responsibility, and grow through shared purpose. Suvaaankoor’s joining resonates deeply with that vision. From our very first conversations, it was clear that he brings not just technical strength, but also sincerity, clarity of thought and a very grounded approach to client service. For years, our firm has been strong on the corporate side, and we knew that expanding our disputes capability was the natural next step.

Suvaaankoor’s addition marks the beginning of this evolution, and we feel that the transition is happening in a very thoughtful and organic way. His ability to connect the dots between corporate strategy and dispute resolution brings new energy to the firm. We are genuinely excited about the synergy this creates and the value it will offer to our clients. We are very happy to welcome him to the Lex Consult family.”

On joining Lex Consult, Das shared,

“I am truly delighted to join Lex Consult and contribute to the development of the firm’s dispute resolution practice. The firm has built an impressive reputation in corporate work, from M&A and strategic alliances to private equity and venture capital, and what drew me in was the opportunity to add a meaningful new dimension to this foundation. In many ways, it feels like completing a missing piece of the puzzle.

By establishing a strong litigation and arbitration practice, we are not only expanding the firm’s capabilities but also moving toward a genuinely full-service setup. The synergy is natural, corporate clients often need a deep dispute strategy, and litigation clients value robust transactional support. Bringing these strengths together under one platform creates exciting possibilities for the firm and for the clients we serve. I look forward to shaping a practice that is collaborative, commercially grounded, and truly supportive of clients at every stage of their journey.”
