The 6th edition of the Khaitan & Co Investors’ Cricket Cup took centre stage in Mumbai this weekend, as teams came together for an action-packed three-day tournament. After many closely fought games on the pitch over the weekend, Warburg Pincus (Warburg Warriors) clinched the Platinum Cup, edging past General Atlantic (GA Mavericks) in a close final.

The Women’s Cricket Challenge Cup 2026 saw ‘Swift Strikers’ prevail against ‘Sapphire Smashers’, with both teams featuring players from Goldman Sachs, TPG and General Atlantic.

For the Gold Cup, Goldman Sachs (Gold Sher) beat TVS Capital Funds (TCF Thrusters).

The 2026 edition of the Khaitan & Co Investors’ Cricket Cup was hosted in Mumbai from 30 January to 1 February, with 27 teams from leading Indian and global private equity firms. While the cricket remained fiercely competitive, the tournament also encouraged interaction and camaraderie, strengthening ties across the private equity community.

The tournament featured over 250+ participants from Actis, Advent International, Apax Partners, Alta Capital Management, Apollo Global Management, Ares Management, Bain Capital, Blackstone, Brookfield Asset Management, The Carlyle Group, CPPIB, General Atlantic, GIC, Goldman Sachs, Kedaara Capital, KKR, Macquarie Asset Management, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, National Investment and Infrastructure Fund, Ontario Teachers'​ Pension Plan, PAG, Partners Group, Temasek, TPG, True North, Warburg Pincus and TVS Capital Funds.
