White & Brief – Advocates and Solicitors has announced the elevation of Burzin Bharucha to Partner, where he will continue to strengthen the firm’s Disputes & White-Collar practice.

Bharucha has over a decade of experience in Dispute Resolution with a strong focus on White-Collar crime. He has extensive experience handling high-stakes matters involving financial disputes, fraud and other complex proceedings. Known for his comprehensive approach, Bharucha manages cases across the full spectrum of trial proceedings from strategic planning to courtroom representation and discharge. Beyond the courtroom, he also represents clients in arbitration proceedings, bringing the same strategic rigour to dispute resolution outside traditional litigation.

He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, Bombay High Court and various other judicial forums. He has represented clients in proceedings initiated by regulatory and investigative authorities including the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED), Economic Offences Wing (EOW) and Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In addition to his dispute resolution expertise, Bharucha is well-versed in commercial, insolvency and bankruptcy matters. His dual proficiency across civil and criminal litigation enables him to deliver effective and nuanced solutions to complex, high-stakes legal challenges.
