Every court should ensure a hassle-free and welcoming atmosphere for all individuals involved in the court proceedings, highlighted Madhya Pradesh Chief Justice Ravi Malimath recently..The Chief Justice opined that this task should not only be left to only child-friendly courts.The Chief Justice made the observation on Tuesday, during the virtual inauguration ceremony for infrastructural enhancements made to the district courts in Mandla, Morena, Narmadapuram, and Shahdol.The e-inauguration took place in the presence of Justices GS Ahluwalia, Vishal Dhagat, Sunita Yadav and Amar Nath (Kesharwani), along with other judges of the High Court as well as the Principal District and Sessions Judges of these districts.In his speech, the Chief Justice emphasized that the e-inauguration of the newly constructed buildings aims to save time.Physical inaugurations can be time-consuming and lead to delays in the commencement of court operations within these buildings. Therefore, the objective of an e-inauguration is to enhance efficiency for the benefit of all stakeholders, the Chief Justice observed..The improvements added to the district courts include a 10-courtroom building in Mandla, which has two courtrooms on each floor along with a mediation room, meeting halls, and well-equipped office space.In the District Court, Morena, four additional courtrooms, a malkhana, and a record room have been built, incorporating a 10 KVA Solar system and other facilities.Furthermore, two child-friendly courts in Jaisinghnagar and Beohari, located in District Shahdol, were inaugurated. These courts feature a courtroom, chamber, waiting hall, and other facilities.Additionally, a child-friendly court was also inaugurated in Sohagpur, District Narmadapuram, with a courtroom, chamber, waiting hall for child witnesses, a relatives' hall, and other amenities.
