Courts should not take on record comments made during mediation, settlement proceedings: Supreme Court

A Division Bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Bela M Trivedi noted that if comments are taken on record, same would impede conciliation and shall be contrary to the principle of confidentiality.
