[Cyclone Amphan and COVID-19] IDIA calls for contributions for relief work in the Sunderbans and Kolkata's Beleghata slum

Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access (IDIA) has called for contributions to aid its relief work in the Sunderbans and Kolkata's Beleghata slum, two areas severely affected by the massive destruction caused by Cyclone Amphan and the persisting COVID-19 pandemic. IDIA has already helped 250 families from 3 villages, and aims to provide further help and supplies to every community in the area that requires immediate assistance. .IDIA intends to provide Rs 1,500 each for 1,000 families in the Sunderbans, thereby requiring a total amount of Rs 15 lakh..Relief work in Beleghata.IDIA has been sending rations along with some money to 15 families in Beleghata in order to help them meet their daily needs amid the COVID-19 crisis. .Moreover, after the cyclone's hard-hitting blow, even their rehabilitation shelters have been destroyed. Currently, these families have been camping in a school while IDIA continues to provide necessities.
