Defamation complaint filed against Ram Gopal Varma for his tweet on Draupadi Murmu

The complaint said that Varma deliberately made derogatory remarks against the senior politician and former Governor of Jharkhand which were offensive, obnoxious and intended to tarnish her image and reputation.

A criminal defamation complaint has been filed before a Mumbai court against filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma for his tweet on the nomination of Draupadi Murmu as the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) presidential candidate.
