A Delhi court on Monday remanded the Red Fort Bomb blast case accused Amir Rashid Ali to the custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for 10 days. .District Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna of the Patiala House Courts passed the order after Ali was produced before the Court by the agency. .Ali was arrested by the NIA on allegations that he conspired with Dr Umar Un Nabi, the suspect who drove the explosive-filled car to carry out the suicide bombing, killing 10 people on November 10. It is alleged that Ali was the owner of the Hyundai i20 car used in the attack. .According to a statement released by the NIA on November 16, Ali is a resident of Jammu and Kashmir's Pampore and was arrested in Delhi following a "massive search operation". "Amir [Rashid Ali] had come to Delhi to facilitate the purchase of the car which was eventually used as a vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Device (IED) to trigger the blast.
