Disgruntled litigant vandalises official car of Family Court judge in Kerala

A disgruntled litigant on Wednesday reportedly vandalised a family court judge's official car in Thiruvalla, Kerala.

According to a report by Malayala Manorama, the litigant, one EP Jayaprakash, got riled up during his examination by judge GR Bilkul, and caused ruckus in the courtroom.

Later, Jayaprakash allegedly purchased a spade from a nearby shop and smashed the windshields and windows of the judge's official car.

Jayaprakash was subsequently taken into custody by the police for questioning.

As per the report, Jayaprakash was appearing as party-in-person (arguing for self without lawyer) and that he has several cases pending against him including those for divorce, maintenance and return of dowry.
