Cyril Amarchand Partner, Prashanth Venkatesh joins Baker & McKenzie Singapore

Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow, the member firm of Baker & McKenzie International in Singapore, has recently hired former Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Prashanth Venkatesh as Local Principal. He will be part of the firm’s Finance & Projects practice group.

Commenting on his arrival, Andy Leck, Managing Principal of Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow, said, “We are pleased to welcome Prashanth to our Firm. Prashanth’s solid track record in India-related deals will reinforce our strengths in supporting clients at a time when India is experiencing an exciting growth story.”

Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie, Prashanth was working at the Bangalore office of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. He joined Amarchand Mangaldas in 2012 after working at Linklaters, London for four years.

A graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Prashanth initially worked in the Chambers of Senior Advocate Rajeev Dhavan. In 2006, he went to London to pursue LL.M. from London School of Economics after which he joined Linklaters.

Prashanth, who has significant experience in India-related financing transactions, commented,
