[Exclusive]: JSA makes five Equity Partners

J. Sagar Associates today made three Equity Partners – Manvinder Singh, Trisheet Chatterjee and Poonam Verma.

Two ‘Equity Partner Elects’ Lalit Kumar and Pallavi Bedi are also Equity Partners effective this year.

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Managing Partner Dina Wadia commented,

Both Manvinder and Trisheet are based in Gurgaon and focus on Corporate Commercial law including Mergers & Acquisitions, Foreign Investment, Joint Ventures and Private Equity. Both were made partner in 2011.

Poonam Verma sits in the Delhi office, focusing on Infrastructure & Regulatory Practice.

These appointments come at a time when Equity Partner Somasekhar Sundaresan is leaving for counsel practice.
