

The police have registered a first information report (FIR) against a man for hurling abuses at Kerala High Court Justice A Badharudeen.
According to the FIR, the incident occurred at 5:22 pm on Monday, July 20, when Justice Badharudeen, accompanied by his personal security officer, was on his way back to his residence from the High Court in his official vehicle.
When Justice Badharudeen reached KS Udayan road, which is around 4 km away from the High Court, the accused allegedly yelled abuses at the judge and asked him to take his vehicle and get lost.
Following the same, Justice Badharudeen's PSO sent a complaint to the Ernakulam Town North Police Station via email.
The Police then registered the FIR with offences under Section 281 (rash and negligent driving) and 296(b) (uttering obscene words in a public place) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
While the accused has not been named yet, the FIR records his scooter number as KL 07 CT 2289.
