A fire broke out today morning in one of the rooms on the third floor of the Rohini Court Complex.
The fire has now been doused.
The reason behind the fire appears to a short circuit, as per sources.
While property, including court records, has been damaged due to the fire, no causalities have been reported.
Soon after the fire was noticed, fire engines were called in to douse the fire.
Rohini Court Complex, like all other district courts in Delhi, has been witnessing very less footfall of litigants and advocates on account of suspended functioning due to COVID-19.
As per the latest order issued by the Delhi High Court, all courts have been asked to conduct hearings in urgent matters through video conferencing mode.
Recently, the District & Sessions Judge at Rohini Court had tested positive for COVID-19.
