Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher expands India team; Promotes former Jones Day and AZB lawyer, Priya Mehra as Of Counsel in Singapore

Priya Mehra, who has been working with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in the firm’s Singapore office as an Associate, has been recently promoted as Of counsel with effect from January 2014.

Priya, who is dual qualified to practice in India and England & Wales, has an extensive background working in the Indian markets.

Prior to joining Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, she was working with Jones Day in Singapore, a position she took up in 2007 after five years at AZB & Partners.  She is a graduate of Delhi University.

Last year, AZB & Partners Senior Associate Bharat Vansh Bahadur also moved to Singapore to join the firm’s India team led by Jai Pathak, Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Singapore office and the Pacific Asia region.

Bharat, who is a graduate of Amity Law School, started his career at AZB and worked there for almost eight years before moving to the Singapore office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
