Government to call law interns to test functioning of RTI Act

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India has decided to involve law interns to study the implementation of the Right to Information (RTI) Act. In a circular dated November 10, 2014 the DoPT described the initiative as an exercise to document its experience in the implementation of the RTI Act, its successes, shortcomings and areas which require attention.
