Those Judges who were to sit in Court and hear matters will now do so via video conferencing.
Pursuant to a Standing Committee decision to restart virtual hearings at the Gujarat High Court , the High Court has notified the suspension of physical hearings for the present.
On September 9, the Gujarat High Court had notified the resumption of physical hearings. The spread of COVID-19 in the State had forced the Court to resort to virtual hearings, via video conferencing.
The Court had also notified a detailed Standard Operating Procedure to be adhered to when the Court resumed physical hearings.
However, a new intimation from the High Court communicates its decision to suspend physical hearings till further orders, for the present.
Those Judges who were to sit in Court and hear matters will now do so via video.
