The Gujarat Legal Services Authority on August 13 virtually inaugurated legal services clinics in eleven districts of Gujarat under the NALSA Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana, 2025.

The Yojana (Scheme) offers free and competent legal assistance to defence personnel, ex-servicemen and their dependent family members.

The clinics were launched under the guidance of High Court Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal and Justice AY Kogje.

The event was virtually attended by judges of the High Court, HM Pavar, Member Secretary of the Gujarat State Legal Services Authority, and members of the Registry.

Judicial officers of the district courts also participated in the event through virtual mode.

These clinics, located in places including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot and Bhuj will provide free legal aid and advice to defence personnel, ex-servicemen and their families through para-legal volunteers and panel advocates.

The initiative follows the launch of the scheme by NALSA and the earlier inauguration of a clinic at the Rajya Sainik Board in Gujarat.
