Newly sworn-in Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud said on Wednesday that he will try to ensure that arguing and conducting cases before the Court is a stress-free affair for lawyers and litigants. .The CJI said this to the Bar members assembled in his court after he sat to hear cases post his swearing in ceremony. "Apologies for keeping the members of the bar wait for so long. I will try to make it a no-stress court for everyone," he said.The lawyers then congratulated him and wished him the very best for his tenure at the helm. .Earlier on Wednesday, Justice Chandrachud was sworn in as the 50th CJI. President of India, Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to him at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 10 AM.Justice Chandrachud took over from former CJI UU Lalit who retired from office on Tuesday.
