A Delhi court on Wednesday remanded four Indian Youth Congress (IYC) workers booked for protesting at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 - Krishna Hari, Kundan Yadav, Ajay Kumar and Narasimha Yadav - to four more days of police custody. .Chief Judicial Magistrate Mridul Gupta of the Patiala House Court passed the order after the Delhi Police had sought five more days' custody.The accused were produced before the Court today after the expiry of their police custody. .The Delhi Police argued that the five accused persons are required to be confronted with the accused Uday Bhanu Chib (IYC President who was remanded to police custody yesterday) and Bhudev Sharma to establish the hierarchy in the conspiracy, the roles of the accused, the planning, funding and the decision-making authority.It was further stated that several co-accused persons are still absconding.Counsel appearing for the IYC workers argued that there is no reason for further remand..Members of the IYC staged a shirtless protest inside the India AI Impact Summit held at Bharat Mandapam on February 20.
