Indore court acquits bangle-seller booked for sexual harassment after assault by mob

Taslim Ali was selling bangles when he was abused, threatened and assaulted by hooligans. A cross-FIR was later lodged against him on allegation that he had sexually assaulted a minor girl.

A court in Madhya Pradesh's Indore on Tuesday acquitted Taslim Ali, a bangle seller who was assaulted by a mob in Indore and later charged by the police with offences of sexual harassment and outraging the modesty of a woman in 2021.
