As per a notification issued by the High Court’s Registrar General, the Srinagar wing of the High Court will remain closed for sanitisation on July 8 (today) and July 9.
The Jammu and Kashmir High Court will remain closed for two days after certain CRPF personnel deployed at the Srinagar Wing of the High Court were found positive for COVID-19.
The Registrar General J&K High Court, Mr. Jawad Ahmad informed Bar & Bench "there are 8 CRPF personnel deployed at Srinagar High Court who have tested COVID positive due to which work has been suspended for 2 days at the High Court."
As per a notification issued by the High Court’s Registrar General, the Srinagar wing of the High Court will remain closed for sanitisation today and tomorrow.
Urgent cases listed for July 8 and July 9 at the Srinagar wing of the High Court will be taken up on July 10, it is informed further.
Dates in other matters will be given by the Bench Secretary and posted on the website of the High Court on July 11.
On Tuesday, the High Court of Gujarat also informed that it will remain shut for a three-day period after a spike in COVID-19 cases in its vicinity.
Out of those tested between July 4-5, six members of the Gujarat High Court's Registry and one constable from the vigilance department tested positive for the virus.
