Jupitice Justice Technologies introduces its Integrated EStamping and Digital Signing Solution, a secure digital stamping and execution framework designed to help enterprises, financial institutions, law firms and legal teams streamline the payment of non-judicial stamp duty and execution of legally valid documents through a unified digital workflow.
E-stamping is a secure, computer-based method of paying non-judicial stamp duty to the Government. It replaces traditional physical stamp papers with digital stamp paper that is tamper-proof, easily verifiable and suitable for modern digital documentation workflows. As organisations increasingly move from paperbased execution to digital legal operations, the need for secure, compliant and integrated stamping infrastructure has become critical.
Traditional stamping and signing processes often require separate manual steps, including stamp duty calculation, document preparation, physical signing, record keeping and compliance tracking. These fragmented processes create delays, increase operational dependency and make it difficult for legal and business teams to maintain an audit trail. For high-volume enterprises and financial institutions, these challenges become even more significant when documents need to be executed across multiple states, parties, business units and transaction categories.
Built as part of Jupitice’s broader AI-powered legal and governance infrastructure ecosystem, the Integrated E-Stamping and Digital Signing Solution addresses these challenges by bringing digital stamping, document upload, party details, e-sign consent, Aadhaar-based authentication, stamped PDF retrieval and audit logging into a single seamless operating flow.
The platform enables users to initiate e-stamping directly from the dashboard, select the relevant e-stamp type, upload source documents, validate metadata, start the stamping process, and complete digital signing with secure authentication. Once the process is completed, the final stamped and signed PDF is automatically retrieved and updated against the relevant inventory, transaction or document record. The platform also integrates with existing business applications via APIs and configurable workflows, enabling enterprises to align execution processes with their internal systems without extensive software redevelopment.
The solution supports e-stamping across two primary modes, physical and real-time, with three underlying workflows structured to suit different legal, commercial and financial use case inventories.
The Jupitice Stamp Inventory mode covers documents where the stamp paper is procured physically from authorised vendors. The client specifies the applicable state, based on the jurisdiction governing the document, as well as the denomination. The physical stamp paper is then scanned and uploaded to the platform, converting it to digital format within the inventory. The system then initiates the signing process, applies signature controls, and links the digital stamp to the document.
The Operational and Financial E-Stamp flows operate in real time and are designed for documents whose stamp duty is calculated based on transaction-specific details. The Operational flow captures party, consideration and article code details for commercial agreements, while the Financial flow captures loan details such as sanction amount, interest rate and tenure for banking and credit transactions. Both integrate seamlessly with NeSL registration. The platform is designed to support secure document execution through Aadhaar-based e-KYC authentication, offering 15 types of digital signatures, including OTP-based, biometric-based and e-tokenbased e-signing options. Users are redirected to the relevant consent and authentication flows, where they can review the document, accept the required terms, and complete e-signing via the selected method, subject to applicable state regulations and legal requirements. Once the e-signing process is completed, the signed and stamped document is made available for review and record management.
Automation is a key part of the system. The platform automatically downloads the final stamped PDF and updates the relevant document in the database. This reduces manual follow-up, eliminates dependency on separate downloads and helps ensure that the final executed document is stored against the correct transaction record.
Every e-stamping attempt is logged with a unique transaction reference, creating a traceable history of document initiation, stamping, signing, authentication and final PDF retrieval. The platform further incorporates encrypted data transmission, role-based access controls and detailed transaction logs, helping legal, compliance, finance and operations teams maintain better control over document execution and respond more effectively to internal or external audit requirements.
For enterprises and financial institutions managing large volumes of legal documents, loan agreements, commercial contracts, operational records and compliance documentation, the integrated solution helps reduce turnaround time, improve document accuracy and strengthen execution governance. Legal teams can monitor the status of stamping and signing, operations teams can reduce manual processing, and business users can complete document execution within a structured digital workflow.
The solution is particularly relevant for banks, NBFCs, housing finance companies, insurance providers, law firms, regulated enterprises, public sector organisations and businesses that regularly execute documents requiring non-judicial stamp duty and legally valid digital signatures. By combining e-stamping, e-signing, NeSL integration, metadata capture, provider automation and audit logging, Jupitice enables organisations to modernise one of the most operationally critical parts of legal documentation.
The launch further strengthens Jupitice’s vision of building configurable institutional operating systems for justice, legal and governance transformation. Beyond e-stamping and digital signing, Jupitice’s AI-powered ecosystem includes Litigation Management System, Contract Lifecycle Management, Online Dispute Resolution, Compliance Management System, Legal Notice Management System, Arbitration and Mediation platforms, Digital Law Office solutions and AI-native legal intelligence tools.
