[Kalamassery Bus Burning] Thadiyantavida Nazeer enters guilty plea; sentenced to 7 years imprisonment by Kerala NIA Court

In 2005, a Tamil Nadu government-owned bus was set on fire, allegedly in retaliation to the continued detention of the Chairman of the People's Democratic Party, Adbul Nazar Madani.

A Special Court in Kerala on Monday sentenced Thadiyantavida Nazeer and his accomplice to 7 years rigorous imprisonment in the Kalamassery bus burning case of 2005. Another accused was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment for the same crime [Union of India v Nazeer Thadiyantavidatha @ Ummer Haji & Ors.].
