Karnataka High Court closes contempt of court case against doctor after she apologises, offers to do community service

The Court accepted the unconditional apology, treating it as an undertaking given to the Court and ordered that the contemnor be permitted to to render community service at any government hospital she approaches.

The Karnataka High Court recently closed contempt of court proceedings initiated against a doctor from Bengaluru after she tendered her unconditional apology and assured the Court that she will do community service at a government hospital for six months.
