Karnataka High Court stays FIR against KSBC members and BCI order for probe into misappropriation of funds
The Bar Council of India order appointing a three-member committee to probe the matter and calling for records from the KSBC has also been stayed.
The Karnataka High Court on Friday stayed the first information report (FIR) lodged against the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman of the Karnataka State Bar Council (KSBC) and others for alleged misappropriation of funds and inflation of expenditure during a State Level Advocates Conference organised in Mysore in August 2023.
