Kerala Court sentences spurned lover to life imprisonment for murder of former girlfriend

The Court on May 10 had found the accused guilty of trespassing into the house of 23-year-old Vishnupriya and stabbing her to death in 2022.

A Court in Kerala on May 13 sentenced Shyamjith M who was recently found guilty of murdering his former girlfriend Vishnupriya, to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹2 lakh on him [State of Kerala v Shyamjith M].
