Free legal aid, a Transgender Justice Board – Read Kerala’s Transgender Policy of 2015

Just over a year after the Supreme Court’s  historic decision in NALSA v Union of India, the state of Kerala has released its Transgender Policy, 2015. The 20-page document, approved in September this year, lays down the various means and measures through which the State government will fight the discrimination faced by members of the transgendered community.
