Kochhar loses another Senior Partner to CAM; Manishi Pathak to join Cyril Shroff in Delhi

Kochhar & Co Corporate Senior Partner Manishi Pathak is joining Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in Delhi, according to our sources. It is understood that he will be joining Cyril’s Delhi team as a Partner.

Pathak, who joined Kochhar in 2000, heads the regulatory practice and is also in-charge of the South-East Asia practice of the firm. He has been advising clients on strategic corporate investments, company laws, securities laws, exchange control & foreign investment laws, employment laws, private equity and venture capital laws. He also co-chairs the employment law practice of the firm.

Manishi is the third Partner from Kochhar to join Cyril. The other two partners are Harry Chawla and Niti Paul.

Both Managing Partner Rohit Kochhar and Manishi Pathak were not available for comment. Cyril Shroff was also not reachable for comment at the time of publishing the story.

Cyril Shroff has already hired fourteen Partners for his Delhi office, namely Gyanendra Kumar, Anuradha Mukherjee and Srinivas Kilambi from MNK Law Offices, Ritika RathiGokul RajanNikhil NarediHarry Chawla and Niti Paul from Kochhar & Co, Rishi Anand of Gnarus Partners, Harsh Kumar from Khaitan, Raghuram Raju, Luthra & Luthra Delhi Banking & Finance Partner Piyush Mishra, Khaitan & Co Delhi Litigation Partner Gauri Rasgotra and ELP Litigation Partner Kirat Nagra. He also recently hired Ashwin Sapra from Clasis Law as Partner Designate.
