Law Firm expansions: Inttl Advocare, Orbit Law and Alpha Partners set up new offices

Three law firms are looking to expand by setting up offices in different cities. Full service firm Inttl Advocare has opened a Mumbai office, Orbit Law Services has entered Chennai and Delhi-based Alpha Partners has started operations at its new Bangalore office..Late last month, IPR specialists Inttl Advocare announced the opening of its Mumbai office. The new office will be headed by Mohan Vegulaparanan, a qualified Post Graduate in Corporate Affairs with 30 years of corporate experience. He recently joined the firm and will be responsible for the practice development and managing operations..Hemant Singh, Managing Partner of Inttl Advocare said in a press release,.“We have been actively considering establishing our office in Mumbai for quite some time…the opening of our new branch in the vibrant financial hub of India is a natural progression and would help us further expand our strong client and partner base…”.The firm has plans to beef up its Mumbai team and set up operations in other cities as well in the coming months. It currently has 30 lawyers, including 6 partners..Orbit Law Services, which was formed in September last year, are also looking to expand with the opening of their new Chennai office. The new office, which began work on June 8, will be headed by Associate Partner Haridas Sriramulu and another Junior Associate. The Chennai team will be strengthened by a Senior Associate and two more Junior Associates. Till such time, they will be backed by the team at Mumbai..At the beginning of this year, the firm announced the opening of their third office at Vijayawada. The first two are at Delhi and Mumbai. The firm currently has a strength of 35 lawyers, including 2 Senior Partners, 4 Partners and 7 Associate Partners..Delhi-based Alpha Partners has also set up a new office at Bangalore, with a view to provide legal assistance to startups and investors in the city..Co-founding Partner Akshat Pande said in a press release,.“This is a very strategic decision keeping in mind the steady growth of the firm. We plan to engage at least one senior associate and one associate within this month for the Bangalore office.
