ADR ODR India signs Memorandum of Understanding with Jindal Global Law School

Through the MoU, ADR ODR India and JGLS will collaborate on ADR-focused training, joint academic and professional programmes.

ADR ODR India, represented by its CEO Pavani Sibal on behalf of ADRODR International, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Professor C. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University and Jindal Global Law School.

The signing ceremony was attended by several ambassadors serving as resident professors at the university and the Deans of all its multidisciplinary departments.

The collaboration is structured around the following key objectives:

  1. Training and Professional Development which involves the delivery of specialised programmes in international negotiation, mediation, and arbitration, culminating in a DDRS certification.

  2. Academic and Professional Programmes at AOI Law School both online and at the DIFC Academy in Dubai. The partnership will offer a diverse portfolio of academic and professional courses, including:

    • Preparation programmes for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) in England & Wales;

    • Preparation programmes for the New York Bar Examination;

    • LL.M. programmes in collaboration with Leeds Beckett University;

    • Certificate and diploma programmes in association with institutions such as University of Lausanne (CASIBD);

    • Additional programmes introduced jointly by O.P. Jindal Global University and ADRODR International, along with their respective academic partners.

  3. Events and Engagement Initiatives. The collaboration will facilitate ADR focused activities, including mediation and negotiation competitions, conferences, seminars, and summits, alongside workshops, masterclasses, guest lectures, and industry engagement and networking forums at O.P Jindal University and abroad.

Programme delivery will be conducted through in person sessions, online platforms, and hybrid formats, ensuring accessibility and global participation.

Speaking on the occasion, Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, the Founding Vice Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University, emphasised the transformative potential of the collaboration and said,

“This partnership represents a forward-looking commitment to reimagining legal education in a globalised world. By integrating rigorous academic learning with practical training in dispute resolution, we aim to prepare a new generation of legal professionals who are not only technically proficient but also deeply committed to justice, innovation, and ethical leadership. Such collaborations are essential in ensuring that institutions remain responsive to the changing contours of law, technology, and society.”
