Link Legal Partner Sarojanand Jha leaves to set up boutique disputes firm ‘Vedanta Legal’

Link Legal Disputes Partner Sarojanand Jha has left the firm to start a boutique disputes firm called ‘Vedanta Legal’ in Delhi.

Sarojanand Jha had worked with Link Legal in the firm’s Disputes team for more than 11 years after joining in 2007. He is a graduate of Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi.

He was made Associate Partner at Link Legal in November 2016 and was inducted into the partnership in December 2018.

On Jha’s decision to leave, Link Legal issued a statement,

“Saroj wanted to pursue an independent career. He continues to be associated with the firm on a few matters. We wish him all the very best.”

Jha has extensive experience in advising and representing domestic and foreign clients including PSUs in complex disputes before the Supreme Court, various High Courts, and other forums.

He has also gained considerable experience in advising and handling various domestic and international arbitration including those under the aegis of Zurich Chamber of Commerce, SIAC, ICC, AAA and DIAC, involving disputes arising out of a wide range of commercial contracts.

At Vedanta Legal, he will continue to focus on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration.
