72 Rohingyas in Bengaluru, no plan to deport them: Karnataka govt tells Supreme Court

The government filed an application to this effect in response to a plea by BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay seeking directions to the Centre and states to deport all illegal immigrants within one year.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Karnataka has informed the Supreme Court that it has no immediate plan to deport the 72 Rohingyas living in Bengaluru.
