The High Court has declared that the next three days would be a holiday and has specified three different days on which the court would work to make up for it.
The Allahabad High Court has issued an order declaring March 19-21 as a holiday, after a court employee was suspected to have contracted the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Court has also specified that no daily cause lists would be published for March 24 and 25.
It is reported that Court has to be closed for sanitisation following suspicion that one of the staff employee of the High Court has contracted coronavirus.
It has also been notified that only fresh cases will be taken up on March 23 and 24.
Due to this three day holiday, it has been added that the court will remain open on April 4 and June 1 and 2.
It further states that from March 23-25 urgent matters would be listed in an additional cause list under directions of concerned Courts.
