Allahabad High Court declines to entertain PIL seeking postponement of UP Elections

A Division Bench of Justices Attau Rahman Masoodi and Narendra Kumar Johari refused to entertain the PIL and said that the reasons for the same shall be recorded later.

The Allahabad High Court on Thursday refused to entertain a public interest litigation (PIL) which sought postponement of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in view of rising COVID-19 cases in the State.
