Allahabad High Court seeks government response in plea alleging illegal detention of two Nigerian nationals

The Allahabad High Court has directed the Centre and the State of Uttar Pradesh to respond to a habeas corpus petition alleging the illegal detention of two Nigerian nationals.

The petition filed through the wives and friends of the Nigerians allege that the two have been unlawfully detained since September last year.
