[BREAKING] Andhra Pradesh government moves Supreme Court against High Court order to build Amaravati as capital

In the appeal, it is argued that the finding that a State did not have the power to decide on its capital is violative of the basic structure of the Constitution.

The Andhra Pradesh government has moved the Supreme Court challenging the March 3 judgment of the state high court declaring Amaravati as the only capital of the state in a bid to revive its plan to have three capitals.
