[Aryan Khan drug case] NCB made me sign blank papers: Aide of independent witness fears for life

In a significant development, the bodyguard of independent witness KP Gosavi has stated on affidavit that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) made him sign a blank panchnama in the cruise ship drugs case, in which Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, has been implicated..Prabhakar Sail alleged in a detailed affidavit that he was made to sign blank sheets of paper by the NCB during its investigation in the case. He also expressed a threat to his life, even as his employer Gosavi has gone missing..In his affidavit Prabhakar states1) He is the personal bodyguard of Kiran Gosavi2) Gosavi on October 2, 2021 asked him to come near NCB Office3) Gosavi was with a NCB Official (name not disclosed) and asked him to wait near NCB Office4) Photographs were sent by Gosavi on Sail’s WhatsApp and was told to keep an eye on the persons in Photograph who are coming to board a cruise ship through the green gate5) Informed Gosavi of having identified one person and Gosavi informed that the identified person was arrested along with 13 others6) Gosavi asked Sail to inform CISF officers that Wankhede asked them to let the Innova Car through the green gate, CISF officials refused and told Sail to come through Yellow Gate10) Gosavi later came by foot, changed his clothes and entered through the Green gate11) At 10.30 PM Gosavi called Sail to the boarding area where Sail saw Khan and Munmun Dhamecha and few others with NCB Officials12) At 12.30 pm Gosavi accompanied NCB officials and took Khan in his White Innova13) At 1 am Gosavi called Sail and asked him to sign as Pancha and then go to NCB office.14) At NCB office, Wankhede instructed the staff to take my signatures and name. One Salekar from NCB told me to sign on 10 Blank papers15) After sometime Gosavi came down and met on person Sam D'Souza about 500 meters from NCB Office, who drove in different cars. 16) Gosavi was talking to Sam on the phone and stated that “you put a bomb of 25 crores and lets settle at 18 final because we have to give 8 crores to Sameer Wankhede.”17) After few minutes one blue colour Mercedes came to the spot and Sail saw Pooja Dadlani came in the car. Sam, Gosavi and Pooja sat in Mercedes and started talking. Then we all left after 15 minutes and and Gosavi and myself reached Mantralaya. We left for Vashi and collected 2 bags of cash of about Rs. 50 Lakhs..The affidavit also talks about several calls to Sam Dsouza and other details. .The affidavit stated,“I say that KP Gosavi is missing now and I now fear that NCB officials and other persons involved may kill me or abduct me like KP Gosavi. As seen in big cases, witnesses are often killed or taken away...”.The affidavit names NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede as the officer who instructed the signing of the blank papers. Wankhede has reportedly denied the allegation.
