Bombay High Court issues fresh notice to ex-Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over bank account transfers

The plea claimed that when Fadnavis was the Maharashtra Chief Minister, he misused his position to transfer the accounts of police officials to a private bank where his wife occupied a senior position.

The Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court on Wednesday issued fresh notice to the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis on a public interest litigation alleging irregularities in the transfer of bank accounts of police officials from a nationalised bank to a private one where Fadnavis’ wife occupied a senior position [Mohnish J.
