Bombay High Court issues notice to Maha Vikas Aghadi constituents in plea challenging October 2021 bandh

The Court was hearing a PIL filed by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Julio Ribeiro seeking prosecution of those responsible for the State-wide bandh.

The Bombay High Court on Thursday issued notice to Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) constituents Indian National Congress (INC), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) in a plea challenging the State-wide bandh declared by the coalition party observed on October 11, 2021.
